Daniele Watts, the “Django Unchained” actress who accused an LAPD officer of racism after being detained for public lewdness, was in the end ordered by a judge to apologize.
Watts, who appeared in court, pled no contest to disturbing the peace. In exchange for her plea, the more serious criminal charges were dropped. The actress was then ordered to complete 40 hours of community service and write an apology letter to Sgt. Parker and his two partners.
Watts and her boyfriend were in a car outside the CBS Studios in the San Fernando Valley last September when people in a nearby office building called cops to complain they were having relations in the car. Continue reading
Orange is the New Black star, Taryn Manning, may get a real life taste of jail after she was arrested over making criminal threats against a former friend.
Manning, 36, violated a stay away order from her former-BFF, Jeanine Heller, after a judge issued a mutual domestic restraining order.
The site reports that a judge determined Taryn had violated the restraining order by threatening to kill Jeanine via text and social media. Continue reading
Rapper Gucci Mane was sentenced today to serve three years and three months in federal prison, meaning, he will serve out his full sentence as the federal prison system gives no time off for good behavior.
Gucci, 34, real name is Radric Davis, plead guilty to a federal firearms charge a few months ago. He will be aged nearly 38 by the time he sees the light of day.
The judge also ordered the rapper to serve three years of supervised release with extra limitations on his travel during that time and to pay a $5,000 fine. Continue reading
Shellie Zimmerman cut a dandy of a plea deal in her perjury case.. The wife of George Zimmerman, was accused of a single misdemeanor perjury charge for lying during her husband’s bail hearing.. Misses ex-most wanted was sentenced to a year’s probation and 100 hours of community service.
Bad news for Lindsay Lohan’s ex-assistant as she is being forced to testify against the unlucky actress in her upcoming “lying to cops” case. This is same assistant who spilled ‘the beans’ to police. TMZ
The ex-assistant, Gavin, was served with a subpoena by the L.A. City Attorney’s office.
As TMZ reported, Gavin was the one who rolled on Lindsay and told the cops she was driving the car (despite her claims otherwise). The incident played a major role in their decision to charge her with lying to police.
Sources close to LiLo tell us … the actress refuses to take a plea deal and remains adamant she never lied to police. Lindsay’s next court date is March 1.
