TX Pastor Kenny Comstock & Wife Melissa ID’d As Victims In Thursday Night NM Double-Fatal Crash

LEA COUNTY, NM. (THECOUNT) — Odessa, Texas, Crossroads Executive Pastor Otis Kenny Comstock and his wife Melissa, have been identified as victims in a double-fatal Thursday night vehicle crash in Lee County, New Mexico.

Kenny, 35 and 34-year-old Melissa, were both killed in a New Mexico vehicle crash that also injured their three children Thursday night.

According to reports, the family were traveling to Ruidoso, New Mexico, when they were involved in a vehicle crash near Tatum.

The Comstock’s three children, who are 6, 4, and 1-year-old, survived.

The children are expected to make a full recovery.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Odessa Permian High School On Lockdown Gunman Reported Fire Alarm Sounding

ODESSA, TX. (THECOUNT) — City officials say Odessa Fire/Rescue and Odessa Police have also responded to Permian High School.

Additionally, City officials say a gunman was reported at the school, but those claims have not been substantiated.

TX Woman Killed In Weds Odessa H2 Hummer-Vs-4Runner Crash Involving Kids ID’d As Maylin Gabriela Melo Perez

ODESSA, TX. (THECOUNT) — Maylin Gabriela Melo Perez has been identified as the victim in a fatal Odessa, Texas, crash on Wednesday.

Melo Perez, 36, was operating a Toyota 4Runner with two children passengers, traveling on Andrews Hwy near the intersection of 87th St, when she ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle.

Martina Nabarrete Banuelos, 54, was traveling northbound on Andrews Highway in a H2 Hummer and struck Meol Perez as she passed through the intersection, reports NewsWest9.

Odessa Police and Odessa Fire Rescue responded to the accident scene and discovered Melo Perez mortally injured and two children suffering from critical injuries.

Melo Perez was pronounced deceased on scene of multiple blunt force injuries.

Both children, a 2-year-old male and 6-year-old male, were transported to area hospitals and are currently listed in critical condition.

Banuelos was also transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

TX Illegal Street Race Leaves 3 Dead Several Injured In Odessa

WEST ODESSA, TX. (THECOUNT) — Christian Flores, 22, and Albertico Valenzuela, 17, of Odessa, TX, have been identified as the victims illegally street racing when a violent crash occurred wo miles west of Odessa.

In all, three people died and two others were injured following a crash on east on W. 16th Street, Odessa, near Industrial Ignition auto parts.

Christian Flores was killed, as was Araceli Galbadon, 47, and Kassandra Delagarza, 20, who were traveling in third a vehicle when they were struck during the crash.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Christian Flores, 22, and Albertico Valenzuela, 17, were racing side-by-side westbound on 16th Street, both in Dodge Challengers. Araceli Galbadon, 47, was traveling east on 16th Street with Kassandra Delagarza, 20, Sergio Delagarza, 17, and Elias Delagarza, 9, in a Chevrolet Impala. Continue reading

2 Officers 8 Inmates KILLED In TX Prison Bus Accident Identified

The next of kin have been informed over a Texas bus accident that took the lives of two Correctional Officers and 8 prisoners. Several others were transported to area hospitals in serious or critical condition. The vehicle was traveling from the Middleton Unit in Abilene to the Sanchez Unit in El Paso.
