NY Man Frank J Fodera Sr ID’d As Victim In Friday Fatal Bolton Motorcycle Crash

BOLTON LANDING, NY. (THECOUNT) — Frank J. Fodera, of Ballston Spa, NY, has been identified as the victim killed when the motorcycle he was operating collided with a sport-utility vehicle in Warren County on Friday.

Fodera, 64, was operating a 2018 Harley-Davidson on County Rte 11 near New Vermont Road before 4:30 p.m. Friday, when the fatal collision occurred.

Police said, a Ford Edge SUV driven by Doreen H. Martin, 62, of Bolton, attempted to cross the road at the four-way New Vermont Road intersection while heading north, when she collided with Fodera’s motorcycle.

Martin said she did not see the motorcycle, and pulled into its path. Fodera was unable to avoid the SUV, reports PostStar.

No charges were filed as of late Friday, but the investigation was continuing.

‘Collide’ Singer Howie Day Arrested At NYC Hotel ‘Assaulted Woman’ Injuries To Neck ‘Xanax Possession’

LOWER MANHATTAN — Police have arrested singer Howie Day at Aloft Manhattan Downtown Hotel on a charge of injury domestic violence after allegedly assaulting a woman on Friday.

Day, 38, perhaps best known for hit songs “She Says,” and “Collide,” is accused of assaulting a woman on Friday in the Lower Manhattan hotel, located not far from City Hall.

A criminal complaint said the unidentified female victim “suffered injuries to her neck and hands.”

Police also reportedly found a bag of Xanax tablets on him, reports 6ABC.

NY Woman Emilee Rawleigh ID’d As Victim In Tuesday Night Cohocton Single-Vehicle Ejection Crash

Cohocton, NY. (THECOUNT) — Emilee Rawleigh, from Dansville, New York, has been identified as the victim killed in a Tuesday night single-vehicle crash in Cohocton, New York, according to New York State Police.

Rawleigh, 21, was riding as a passenger in a vehicle traveling on County Road 36 in Cohocton Tuesday night when the fatal crash occurred.

According to State Police, officials responded to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on CR-36 around 10:30 p.m.

Troopers say, Rawleigh was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on CR-36, when for unknown reason, the vehicle exited the roadway and struck an embankment.

Rawleigh was ejected during the violent crash.

She was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

Police said the driver of the vehicle suffered injuries that were considered minor and non-life threatening, reports WHAM13.

According to social media, Rawleigh worked as a bartender Olive Garden and also performed multiple duties at T & J’s Country Kitchen. She attended Dansville Senior High School and lived in Naples, New York.

TN Man Gerard Leo ID’d As Victim In Monday Fatal Chattanooga Crash

CHATTANOOGA, TN. (THECOUNT) — Gerard Leo has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash in Chattanooga Monday afternoon, according to reports.

Leo, 61, was operating a vehicle before 12:30 p.m. in the area of Bailey Ave & S Holtzclaw Ave, in Chattanooga Monday, when he ran a red light and was t-boned by another driver.

The name of the 62-year-old driver will be withheld because he is not facing charges from the crash, say officials.

Chattanooga police are investigating the deadly crash which occurred before 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bailey and S. Holtzclaw Avenues.

Police say 61-year-old man Leo was driving on S. Holtzclaw Avenue, ran the red light at the intersection where he was T-boned by a 62-year-old man who was driving on Bailey Avenue, reports WRCBTV.

Leo was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

The crash shut down area roads, but all lanes have reopened.

Police say 13 crashes have been reported at the intersection of Bailey/S. Holtzclaw Avenues since January 1, 2018. That number does not include the deadly crash on July 1. Injuries were reported in the three of the 13 crashes.

Buffalo Man Cameron Kosman ID’d As Victim In Sunday Fatal Kihei HI Motorcycle Crash

MAUI COUNTY, HI. (THECOUNT) — Cameron Kosman, of Wailuku, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Wailea on Sunday night.

Kosman, 21, was traveling on a motorcycle on Wailea Alanui Drive south of Wailea Ike Drive before 8:10 p.m. on Sunday when the fatal crash occurred.

Police say Kosman was operating a Yamaha motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a turn in the roadway.

According to police reports, the motorcycle struck the center median throwing Kosman off his bike.

Police say Kosman was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

The involvement of speed, drugs and alcohol are still being determined as the investigation is ongoing, reports MauiNow.

NC Man Gary Mincolla ID’d As Pedestrian In Monday Fatal Myrtle Grove Collision

MYRTLE GROVE, NC. (THECOUNT) — Gary Stanton Mincolla, of Wilmington, North Carolina, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck in Myrtle Grove, NC, early Monday.

Gary Mincolla, 38, originally from Syracuse, New York, was on foot in the area of Cathay Rd & Carolina Beach Rd, in Myrtle Grove, NC, when the fatal collision involving a pickup truck occurred Monday around 4am, according to the North Carolina Highway Patrol.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.

No one was cited in the crash and the 24-year-old uninjured pickup driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Dominic Greene ID’d As Baby Boy Found Dead Saturday At NYC Hotel Pennsylvania

MANHATTAN, NY. (THECOUNT) — Two women, 24 and 26, are in custody after a 4-month-old in their custody was found dead inside a Midtown hotel on Saturday

Dominic Greene was found unresponsive after NYPS responded to a 911 call at the Hotel Pennsylvania, located at, 7th Avenue, in New York, NY, around 1 a.m. Saturday.

Hotel staff advised police that they observed two impaired women wandering around the hotel with a 4-month-old child in tow.

Both were taken into police custody for questioning.

The baby was unresponsive and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. There were no obvious signs of trauma, and so an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

Police said the women will likely face child endangerment charges at a minimum, but that could change pending the results of the investigation.

Police identified the child as Dominic Greene from Wilmington, Delaware, and the 24-year-old and 26-year-old women in custody are also from Wilmington. Neither is the child’s mother: One was his step-sister, and the other is that woman’s fiancee. Continue reading

NY Woman Susan Trott ID’d As Stabbing Victim Found Murdered In Manhattan Apt Sunday

MANHATTAN, NY. (THECOUNT) — Susan Trott, of Manhattan, has been identified as the woman would dead in her Upper West Side, New York apartment early Sunday morning.

Trott, 70, was found with her throat cut inside her Manhattan apartment, located at 710 West End Avenue, police said Sunday.

Police arrived at Trott’s residence to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival, first responders located a 70-year-old female victim suffering from a laceration to the neck. Trott was later identified as the victim.

DE Man Paul J. Schiller ID’d As Victim Killed In Friday Magnolia Crash

MAGNOLIA, DE. (THECOUNT) — Paul J. Schiller, of Felton, Delaware, has been identified as the victims killed in a crash, in Magnolia on Friday.

Schiller, 62, was named by Delaware State Police as the individual killed in a crash on Friday, October 19, 2018 on Irish Hill Road, aka, Road 31, at the intersection of Lexington Mill Road.

The crash continues to remain under investigation by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.

NY Teen ‘Chris Hickey’ ID’d As Victim Found Stabbed To Death In Syracuse Sunday

SYRACUSE, NY. (THECOUNT — Christopher Hickey, of Syracuse, NY, has been identified as the victim found stabbed to death on State Street in Syracuse Sunday.

“Chris” Hickey, 19, died Sunday morning after being stabbed in the chest by an unknown suspect, according to Syracuse police.

The victim was stabbed by “someone he was familiar with” during a dispute, according to police spokesman Det. George Hack.
