IA Man Dylan Storm Weaver ID’d As Victim In Thursday Benton County Fatal Crash

BENTON COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Dylan Storm Weaver, of Elberon, Iowa, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday morning fatal vehicle crash in Benton County.

Weaver, 21, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Koszta early Thursday morning.

According to reports, Weaver was operating a Jeep Cherokee on 212 Boulevard near FF Avenue in Honey Creek, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 5 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then entered a culvert.

Weaver was pronounced dad of blunt force trauma injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Pilot Crashes Plane Into House, Exits Cockpit, Helps Put Out Fire

The pilot of a small plane crashed into a home in Colorado, exited the cockpit and helped put out the fire with a garden hose.

Astonishingly, he was relatively unhurt.


The aircraft was on its way to tow a banner for an insurance company over a baseball game when its engine apparently malfunctioned.

After impact, the pilot got out of the cockpit and tried to put out the fire before burning fuel forced him away. Continue reading
