BRONX, NY. (THECOUNT) — Shaquan Wilson, of The Bronx, New York, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal shooting in Bronx County.
Wilson, 21, was shot dead near The Bronx Friday night.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired in area of 1741 Randall Avenue in The Bronx around 10:40 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, Wilson was found suffering from apparent gunshot injuries.
The suspect was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a white stripe on the side, black sneakers and a white face mask.
Wilson was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead fo gunshot injuries.

BELMONT, NY. (THECOUNT) — Bronx woman Marisol Ortiz, and her 14-year-old son, Alanche Delorbe, have been identified as the victims found suffering from blunt force trauma on Sunday afternoon.
Ortiz, 51, and her son were found dead in the Bronx on Sunday afternoon, police said, having both suffered blunt trauma to the head.
A relative reportedly made the grisly discovery in an apartment, located on, East 185th Street near Southern Boulevard and the Bronx Brewery around 3:40 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the deaths may be as a result of a domestic violence incident, reported Pix11.
No arrests have been made and no suspect information was provided.
Police have not yet released any additional information.

BRONX, NY. (THECOUNT) — Helena Flores has been identified as the 4-year-old child who plunged to her death from a fourth-story apartment window in Mott Haven neighborhood of the Bronx on Saturday.
The incident happened around 5 p.m. on East 140th Street after Flores was in an apartment with at least two adults when she fell out a fourth-story window.
Little Helena was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead of multiple blunt force injuries caused in the fall.
Window guards are mandatory in New York City in most buildings if there are any children living in the apartment that are 10 years old or younger, reports News12.
No charges have been filed as of Sunday morning.

BRONX, NY. (THECOUNT) — Brian Kessler, of New Rochelle, New York, has been identified as the off-duty NYPD officer killed Wednesday morning when he was involved in a head-on crash with a garbage truck.
Kessler, 28, was operating a vehicle following an overnight shift Wednesday morning after 8:00 a.m. when he struck a city Parks Department garbage truck head-on while traveling on Shore Road in Pelham Bay.
Kessler was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force injuries consistent with the violent crash.
The NYPD officer had been on the job for less than a year and was assigned to the Police Service Area 8 of the Housing Bureau. Two members of the Parks Department in the garbage truck at the time of the crash were treated for minor injuries at the scene. Continue reading
CONCOURSE VILLAGE, BRONX. (THECOUNT) — Police are investigating after an unidentified woman was shot and killed at the front door of her apartment in the Bronx Saturday night after responding to someone knocking.
Police say, the victim was shot in the head as she peered out of the peephole of the Grand Concourse apartment building door while answering a knock on the door.
At about 9:45 p.m. police received a 911 call of a gunshot at the apartment on the Grand Concourse, The call was made by the woman’s teenage son.
When they arrived, they found the 45-year-old victim inside the apartment. She had been shot in the face and was pronounced dead.
Investigators say it appears someone came to the door, rang the doorbell and then fired a gun through the peephole before running off. Continue reading
NYPD are searching for a group of people they say beat a Bronx father causing him to fall and strike his head. The man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Philip Roseburgh, 35, fell and struck his head on the pavement after being on the receiving end of a brutal beating in front of his residence. Investigators say they are actively searching for the group of people believed responsible for the death of the father of three.
Roseburgh was found unconscious after he was assaulted in front of his home located on Garden Street, on Tuesday evening, Feb. 20.
Police concluded Roseburgh fell and struck his head on the pavement during the beating. Reports said he was transported to an area hospital where he showed little to no brain activity. Continue reading
Bronx man, Amere Bryant, is wanted for the murder of Shaquana Button, who was found shot in the face outside a Bronx boutique.
Police on Wednesday identified Bryant, 24, saying he shot and killed Button, 36, outside of Candy & Grocery Shop earlier this week.
Button was found shot at approximately 11:40 p.m. Monday, police said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
VIA: An 11-year-old Bronx girl was seriously injured after another girl at a sleepover poured boiling water on her face as she slept.

According to friends and family, the host of the sleepover boiled hot water and poured it on the 11-year-old as she was sleeping.
