GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Robbin Edward Lollis, 61, of Taylors, has been identified as the man killed Tuesday night in a motorcycle crash involving a hit-and-run driver in Greenville County, South Carolina.
South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers responded to the fatal collision on US 29 at Tappan Drive in Taylors shortly before 11 p.m., according to authorities.

Investigators said Lollis was operating a 2025 Zihing motorcycle that was turning left onto northbound US 29 when it collided with a Toyota RAV4 traveling south through the intersection.
Emergency personnel attempted to resuscitate Lollis at the scene, but he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the RAV4 fled the crash scene on foot following the collision. Troopers later located the suspect and took the individual into custody.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the Greenville County Detention Center. Authorities had not released the person’s identity or announced the charges expected to be filed as of the latest report.
The investigation into the fatal hit-and-run remains active.
Greenville County is located in northwestern South Carolina in the Upstate region, bordering the Greenville metropolitan area and near the North Carolina state line. The crash occurred along US 29 near Tappan Drive, northeast of downtown Greenville.
