EATON TOWNSHIP, OH. (THECOUNT) — Alondra N. Pacheco Pagan, 20, of Cleveland, has been identified as the person killed Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash involving Matthew Hoffman, 56, of Oberlin, on State Route 10 in Eaton Township, Lorain County, Ohio.
The crash occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. near State Route 57, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Pagan was driving a 1999 Toyota Corolla eastbound on Route 10 in Elyria when the vehicle crossed the grass median, began spinning and entered the westbound lanes.
The Toyota was struck on the passenger side by a westbound 2021 Kia Seltos driven by Hoffman.
Pagan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hoffman was transported by EMS to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The westbound lanes of Route 10 were closed for approximately 90 minutes while crews cleared the crash scene.
The Lorain County Sheriff’s Office, North Ridgeville Police Department, Elyria Police Department, Eaton Township Fire & EMS and the Ohio Department of Transportation assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
Eaton Township is located in eastern Lorain County, southwest of Cleveland and near Oberlin and Elyria. The fatal collision occurred on State Route 10 near State Route 57.
