CULLMAN COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Maddox, 32, of Altoona, Alabama, has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash Thursday morning in Cullman County, Alabama.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Maddox was operating a motorcycle on Highway 91 when it was involved in a collision with a 1997 Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Authorities said the crash occurred at approximately 6:00 a.m.

Maddox sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the collision occurred approximately three miles south of Holly Pond.

The crash took place in eastern Cullman County, a region located between Birmingham and Huntsville in north-central Alabama. The area includes a network of state highways connecting rural communities, agricultural areas, and residential neighborhoods throughout the county.
