SMYRNA, GA. (THECOUNT) — Shanteria Mosley, 26, known as “KT,” is believed to be the woman whose remains were discovered in Smyrna, Cobb County, in the Atlanta metropolitan area, while Kingston Lammar Bradley, 18, faces a malice murder charge in connection with her death.
Bradley was already being held without bond on a charge of concealing the death of another person when investigators searching a vehicle Friday discovered additional human remains inside trash bags in the trunk, according to authorities.

The investigation began Wednesday when authorities responded to the Park Valley Apartments in Smyrna and discovered a woman’s torso inside a tote. Investigators later identified Mosley as the person they believe the remains belong to, although officials said DNA testing was still being conducted and the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office had not yet formally confirmed her identity.
Authorities said additional remains were discovered Friday during a search of a vehicle. Police have obtained multiple search warrants and have been working at more than one location as investigators attempt to locate any remaining evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding Mosley’s death.
Smyrna Police Department officials have said they believe Mosley was killed sometime Wednesday between approximately 10 a.m. and noon. Her family had been searching for her after she was reported missing.
Mosley was known to work as a DoorDash driver, and her family said they believed she had been working Wednesday. Company records reviewed during the investigation reportedly showed that Mosley was not logged into the DoorDash platform or accepting deliveries at the time authorities believe she was killed.
Police have not publicly released a cause or manner of death. The medical examiner’s office is expected to play a role in the formal identification of the remains and determination of the circumstances surrounding the death.
Bradley was initially charged with concealing the death after the first remains were discovered. The subsequent discovery of additional remains resulted in the malice murder charge being added Friday. Authorities said Bradley remained in custody without bond.
At this time, investigators have not announced that anyone else has been charged in connection with Mosley’s death. Police have also said they have not found evidence connecting the case to other victims or unrelated crimes, while the investigation remains active.
Bradley also has a separate, older Cobb County criminal case that is unrelated to the current homicide investigation. Court records show that case stems from an alleged Dec. 19, 2024 incident and includes charges of two counts of terroristic threats and acts, simple battery, battery and criminal trespass involving property damage. The case was filed in 2026.
Authorities have continued searching for additional evidence as detectives work to establish a complete timeline and determine what happened to Mosley. The medical examiner’s findings and DNA testing are expected to provide additional information about the identity of the remains and the cause and manner of death.
Smyrna is located in Cobb County, northwest of downtown Atlanta, and is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The Park Valley Apartments investigation is unfolding roughly 15 miles northwest of central Atlanta.
