According to OHP, the collision occurred at approximately 4:31 p.m. at the intersection, which does not have traffic control signs. A vehicle driven by a 46-year-old woman was traveling north on County Road 90th when it was struck in the passenger-side door by a westbound vehicle operated by a 63-year-old Cushing man.

Frisendahl was riding as a passenger in the northbound vehicle. He sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead as a result of those injuries.
