WARRIOR, AL. (THECOUNT)Adam Michael Cummings, 44, of Dora, Alabama, was killed Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Warrior, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

Warrior is a city in Jefferson County in north-central Alabama, approximately 20 miles north of Birmingham. The crash occurred in the 1500 block of Warrior-Jasper Road, a roadway connecting the Birmingham-area communities of Warrior and Dora.

According to officials, the crash was reported at approximately 4:34 p.m. Wednesday. Cummings was involved in a single-vehicle collision at the location.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene following the crash. Cummings was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 5:09 p.m., according to additional reporting from ABC 33/40.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities have not released additional details regarding what caused Cummings’ vehicle to leave the roadway or whether any other factors contributed to the collision.

No additional victims have been identified in connection with the crash, and the available reports do not indicate that another vehicle was involved.
