OR Man Jason Fall ID’d As Victim In Saturday Prineville Fatal Motorcycle Crash

PRINEVILLE, OR. (THECOUNT) — Jason Fall, 56, of Prineville, Oregon, has been identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash Saturday evening east of Prineville in Crook County.

According to the Crook County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched shortly before 6 p.m. to a reported motorcycle crash on Ochoco Ranger Road, approximately 20 miles east of Prineville in central Oregon.

Investigators said Fall was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle when he crashed into a guardrail near milepost 7.

Authorities said the impact ejected Fall from the motorcycle and carried him beyond the guardrail.

He suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash.

Emergency responders requested Life Flight medical transport, and Fall was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.

Despite lifesaving efforts, Fall later succumbed to his injuries.

Prineville is located in Crook County in central Oregon, approximately 150 miles southeast of Portland. The city serves as a gateway to the Ochoco National Forest and is surrounded by popular recreational routes frequented by motorcyclists, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Ochoco Ranger Road traverses remote portions of the Ochoco Mountains and provides access to forest lands, campgrounds, and recreational areas throughout the region. The roadway features numerous curves, elevation changes, and mountainous terrain.

The Crook County Sheriff’s Office said preliminary findings indicate alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash.

No other vehicles were reported to have been involved.

The investigation remains ongoing.
