Missing PA Man Milo Corll Found Dead Two Days After Cranberry Twp Motorcycle Crash

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA. (THECOUNT) — Milo Corll, who had been reported missing by friends earlier in the week, was found dead Thursday morning following a motorcycle crash near the Interstate 79 northbound entrance ramp from Route 228 West in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, according to state police. Corll was 35.

Authorities said the fatal crash scene was discovered in Butler County near the entrance ramp to Interstate 79 from Route 228 West.

Investigators with the Pennsylvania State Police determined Corll had been operating a motorcycle on the ramp when he failed to maintain control of the bike and traveled off the roadway onto the southern side of the ramp.

According to troopers, the motorcycle struck multiple saplings and dense foliage during the crash sequence.

Police said the impact ejected Corll from the motorcycle.

The motorcycle continued traveling before ultimately coming to rest near the southern side of the Interstate 79 northbound entrance ramp.

Authorities confirmed Corll suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

Investigators said surveillance footage obtained from neighboring businesses helped determine the approximate time and date the crash occurred.

According to state police, Corll’s body was discovered approximately two days after the crash took place.

Officials have not yet released additional details regarding what may have contributed to the collision.

No other vehicles were reported to have been involved in the incident.

Emergency responders and investigators remained in the area Thursday morning as authorities documented the crash scene and removed the motorcycle from the embankment area.

The Interstate 79 and Route 228 interchange in Cranberry Township serves as one of western Pennsylvania’s busiest commuter and commercial traffic corridors north of Pittsburgh.

Cranberry Township has experienced significant commercial and residential growth over the last two decades, leading to increased traffic volume throughout the interchange area connecting Interstate 79 with Route 228.

The entrance and exit ramps surrounding the interchange include wooded embankments and elevated roadway shoulders adjacent to heavily traveled highway lanes.

Authorities have not indicated whether speed, impairment, weather conditions, or roadway factors may have played a role in the crash.

Officials also have not released information regarding whether Corll was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

The Pennsylvania State Police investigation remains ongoing.

No further information has been released.
