Billionaire ‘OnlyFans’ Owner Leonid Radvinsky Dead At 43

CHICAGO, IL. (THECOUNT) — Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire owner of adult-content platform OnlyFans, has died following a long battle with cancer, the company confirmed Monday, March 23, 2026.

He was 43.

OnlyFans confirmed the death in a statement, saying Radvinsky passed away peacefully and that “his family have requested privacy at this difficult time.”

Radvinsky was born in Odesa, Ukraine, and emigrated to Chicago with his family as a child. He graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University in 2002 with a degree in economics. A notoriously private figure, he rarely gave interviews and maintained a low public profile despite becoming one of the most influential figures in the digital content industry.

Radvinsky acquired a 75% stake in Fenix International, the parent company of OnlyFans, from founder Tim Stokely and his family in 2018, when the platform was generating less than $100 million in gross revenue. The purchase price was never officially disclosed. Under his ownership, OnlyFans evolved into one of the most profitable private companies in the United Kingdom.

By 2024, OnlyFans reported $7.2 billion in gross revenue — money paid by subscribers directly to creators — with the company’s own net revenue reaching $1.4 billion and pre-tax profit hitting $684 million. The platform grew to more than 377 million registered users and 4.6 million creator accounts worldwide.

Radvinsky paid himself approximately $1.8 billion in dividends between 2020 and 2024, including a record $701 million in 2024 alone — the equivalent of $1.9 million per day. Forbes estimated his net worth at $7.8 billion as of late 2025.

OnlyFans operates on a subscription-based model in which creators retain 80% of all platform earnings, with OnlyFans taking a 20% commission. The generous revenue share helped drive the platform’s explosive growth, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, when lockdowns pushed creators and consumers online en masse. Celebrities, athletes, musicians, and content creators of all kinds joined the platform, dramatically expanding its reach beyond its adult-content origins.

Despite its profitability, Radvinsky had been quietly exploring a sale of OnlyFans at a valuation of approximately $8 billion in the months before his death. No sale was completed prior to his passing.

In addition to his work at OnlyFans, Radvinsky ran Leo, a venture capital fund he founded in 2009 focused on technology investments. He was also an angel investor in a number of other companies.

Radvinsky’s death leaves the future ownership and leadership of OnlyFans uncertain. The company has not announced any succession plans or changes to its operational structure. Industry observers expect significant attention to be paid to the platform’s ownership transition in the coming weeks.

OnlyFans is currently led by CEO Keily Blair and operates from its London headquarters as a subsidiary of Fenix International Limited. The platform has paid out a cumulative $25 billion to creators since its founding in 2016.

Radvinsky is survived by his family, who have requested privacy. No funeral or memorial arrangements have been announced publicly.
