Viral DoorDash Driver ‘Victim’ Arrested After Ring Camera Surfaces

DoorDash Driver Charged After Filming & Posting Unconscious Customer – Claims She Was the Victim of Sexual Assault

Oswego, NY. (THECOUNT) — November 18, 2025 — A 23-year-old DoorDash driver from Oswego, New York, has been charged with felony unlawful surveillance after she recorded and posted videos of a customer lying unconscious on his couch with his pants and underwear around his ankles.

Olivia Henderson, aka Livie Rose Henderson, now faces one count of second-degree unlawful surveillance (Class E felony) and one count of first-degree dissemination of unlawful surveillance images (Class E felony). Each charge carries a maximum of four years in prison — up to eight years if sentences run consecutively.

The incident occurred on Sunday, October 12, 2025. The customer had selected “leave at door” in the DoorDash app. According to the official Oswego Police Department press release and police reports reviewed by Law&Crime, People, and The Post-Standard, Henderson arrived at the residence, saw the front door open, and observed the male customer on the couch in a state of undress. Police later determined the man was incapacitated due to alcohol consumption and unconscious at the time.

Instead of leaving the order and departing, Henderson recorded video from both outside and inside the home. Ring camera footage reviewed by investigators shows her entering the residence uninvited. Three days later, on October 15, she posted the footage to TikTok, claiming she had been the victim of sexual assault. One version of the video was viewed more than 30 million times before being removed and reposted multiple times.

“Three days ago … I was a victim of SA [sexual assault] by a DoorDash customer while I was doing my job as a DoorDash driver,” Henderson stated in the viral clip.

In follow-up videos that collectively garnered tens of millions more views, she alleged the customer pretended to be asleep after seeing a female driver, accused TikTok of silencing her, and claimed DoorDash deactivated her account in retaliation for speaking out.

DoorDash issued a public statement on its official TikTok account and in direct messages to Henderson (which she later posted) explaining the deactivation:

“Publicly sharing videos taken inside a customer’s home — especially when personal information is involved — raises privacy concerns and is a clear violation of our policies. In order to protect everyone’s safety and privacy, we’ve deactivated both the Dasher’s and the customer’s accounts and are working directly with law enforcement for additional guidance.”

The company emphasized that uploading the footage was the sole reason for termination.

After social media users urged Henderson to contact police, she reported the incident as a sexual assault. Oswego Police immediately launched an investigation into both her claim and the recording itself. Detectives quickly determined:

  • The customer was unconscious and incapacitated from alcohol
  • There was no evidence he lured Henderson or was aware of her presence
  • Henderson entered the home without permission
  • She recorded the man without consent and disseminated the images online

Conclusion of the sexual-assault investigation: “The Oswego Police Department determined that no sexual assault occurred,” the department stated in its official release.

Oswego Police Captain Bryan Thompson told media:

“She recorded him without his consent and then subsequently disseminated those videos. When you’re making social media posts, take an extra second to think about what you’re putting into the world.”

The male customer has fully cooperated with investigators and is not expected to face any charges.

Henderson later posted that she possessed “irrefutable proof” the door was already open but stated she could not release it. Police confirmed Ring footage contradicts her claim of never entering the home.

On November 12, 2025, Henderson was arrested and charged. She was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Oswego City Court on December 4, 2025. The investigation remains active as police continue consulting with the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office.

The case has sparked intense online debate about privacy, gig-worker safety, revenge porn laws, and the dangers of viral vigilante content.
