WAUSHARA COUNTY, WI. (THECOUNT) — In a tragic accident on Wednesday evening, a man from Coloma lost his life after his motorcycle collided with a deer in Waushara County. The incident occurred at approximately 7:46 p.m. on 2nd Lane, south of State Road 21 in the town of Coloma.
The motorcyclist, identified as 31-year-old Aric Kerschner, was pronounced dead at the scene. Kerschner’s passenger sustained unknown injuries and was airlifted to UW-Madison for treatment.
Authorities have not released further details about the condition of the passenger or the exact circumstances leading up to the collision.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
