MONONGALIA COUNTY, WV. (THECOUNT) — Christina Henry Barnes, of Bradenville, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal motorcycle crash in Monongalia County, West Virginia.
Barnes, 55, was killed in a multi-vehicle motorcycle crash near Morgantown Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, Barnes was operating a motorcycle on Interstate 79, when the bike came into contact with a Hyundai Sonata around 2 p.m. Sunday. The Hyundai then exited the roadway and rolled over. A third involved vehicle was struck by debris.
Barnes was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hyundai driver was transported to an area hospital and later released.
No one else was injured.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
