SPOKANE COUNTY, WA. (THECOUNT) — Mark Ingram Simpson, of Deer Park, Washington, has been identified as the victim in a Monday fatal motorcycle collision involving a pickup truck in Spokane County.
Simpson, 56, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash involving 76-year-old James Bunch, who is now facing charges.
According to reports, Simpson was operating a motorcycle on Highway 395 near Spokane, when the bike came into rear end contact with a stopped pickup truck hauling a trailer around 11:20 a.m. Monday.
Simpson was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Charges are pending against Bunch, who was not injured.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
