ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Canizzaro, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night fatal motorcycle crash involving a pickup truck hauling a horse trailer in Atlantic County.
Tony Canizzaro, 41, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Egg Harbor Township Saturday night. Rodolfo Solano Miranda, also of EHT, has been identified as the other involved driver.
According to reports, Canizzaro was operating a motorcycle on Mill Road near Tremont Avenue in the Bargaintown section of the township, when the bike came into contact with the Chevy Silverado pickup truck and trailer operated by 36-year-old Miranda around 11 p.m. Saturday.
Canizzaro was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other parties were injured, including the horses that were in the trailer.
The crash remains under investigation by Egg Harbor Township Police.
