NEW HAVEN COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Jose Rodriguez, of New Haven, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal hit-and-run vehicle-versus-motorcycle crash in New Haven County.
Rodriguez, 41, was killed in a hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle Wednesday night in New Haven.
According to reports, Rodriguez was operating a Suzuki motorcycle near Haven Street and Clay Street in New Haven, when the bike was involved in a collision with a green sedan that then fled the scene around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Rodriguez was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
