BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Katelyn Tullis, of Madison, Indiana, has been identified as the young woman killed in a Wednesday morning vehicle crash in Bartholomew County.
Tullis, 20, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Clay County Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Tullis was operating a Ford passenger vehicle on S 525 E near E 100 S near Petersville, when the vehicle came into contact with an SUV around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Tullis’ passenger, 19-year-old Ayden Pittman, of North Vernon, suffered major injuries in the crash and was transported to an area hospital.
The two individuals in the SUV, Heather Baker, 52, and Sydney Dietrich, both from Columbus, were transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Tullis was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
