GUERNSEY COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Megan Ray Stimpert, of Senecaville, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal motorcycle crash involving a deer in Guernsey County.
Ray 28, was killed in a motorcycle-versus-deer collision near Cambridge Friday night.
According to reports, Stimpert was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on OH-265 in the area of Mile Marker 2 near Cambridge, when the bike came into contact with an animal in the roadway around 8:15 p.m. Friday.
Stimpert, who was thrown from the bike during the collision, was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
