CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Savannah Kapis, of Valley View, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night fatal motorcycle crash in Cuyahoga County.
Kapis, 18, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Brooklyn Heights Saturday night.
According to reports, Kapis was operating a motorcycle on West Granger Road near Tuxedo Avenue, when for unknown reasons, the bike exited the roadway around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The bike then came into contact with a curb, throwing the rider.
Kapis was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
