SUSSEX COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Joshua Aaron Heslep, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday fatal motorcycle crash in Sussex County.
Josh Heslep, 34, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Wakefield early Thursday morning.
According to reports, Heslep was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle crash on Route 460 near Owens Grove Road in Waverly, when for unknown reasons, the bike exited the roadway around 12:50 a.m. Thursday.
Heslep, who was ejected from the bike during the wreck, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
