JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Bobby Lamar, of Jasper, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle crash in Jefferson County.
Lamar, 46, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Hoover Wednesday night.
According to reports, Lamar was operating a vehicle on Interstate 459 near Montgomery Highway and Lorna Road in Hoover, when the vehicle exited the roadway before coming into contact with a concrete median around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Lamar was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Lamar may have suffered a medical event before the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
