TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Casey Michelle Jackson, of Berry, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal vehicle crash in Tuscaloosa County.
Jackson, 30, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Northport Friday night.
According to reports, Jackson was operating a Chevrolet Captiva on Highway 43 near Northport, when the vehicle collided with a Ford F-150 pickup truck Friday night just before midnight.
Jackson was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck suffered unknown injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
