‘My Baby Brother Was Murdered’ Dylan Lyons ID’d As FL Reporter Shot Dead While Covering Orlando Shooting

Dylan Lyons has been identified as the Spectrum News 13 reporter shot dead Wednesday while covering an earlier shooting in Orlando, Florida.

Lyons, 24, was fatally shot – and his Photographer Jesse Walden was wounded – in a Wednesday Orlando shooting that also killed a young girl and critically wounded her mother.

Nikki Lyons, Dylan’s sister, took to Facebook posting the following:

My baby brother was murdered last night!!! My baby Dylan Lyons you were the best most amazing uncle to my kids I love you!!!!! I can’t believe I’m typing this I love you dylan my handsome baby brother!!

Keith Moses, 19, has been identified as the shooter. He is accused of killing a woman in the Orlando area before returning to the same neighborhood hours later – shooting four more people, including Lyons and aa 9-year-old child.

The two were in an unmarked news vehicle on Wednesday afternoon covering the first homicide when a man approached and shot them, Orange County Sheriff John Mina said during a news conference. The man then went to a nearby home where he fatally shot a girl and critically wounded her mother.
