BOULDER, CO. (THECOUNT) — The Boulder Police Department is responding to unconfirmed reports of an active shooter at Boulder High School.
According to scanner traffic, all floors of the school have been cleared and a secondary search is currently taking place.
A shelter-in-place order is still in effect.
Other schools in neighboring cities have also responded to a call of an active shooter, according to scanner traffic.
The shelter-in-place area is between Boulder Canyon Drive to the north, Broadway to the west, University Avenue to the south and Folsom Street to the East.
Police are urging people to avoid the area.
