DECATUR COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Noah Seals, of Osgood, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a Monday fatal vehicle crash in Decatur County.
Seals, 26, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck in Salem Township on Monday morning.
According to reports, Seals was operating a Chevrolet Cruze on U.S. 421 near County Road 600 South in Salem Township, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 8 a.m. Monday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a Mack dump truck.
Seals was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The 38-year-old truck driver suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
