FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Clinton McDevitt, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday evening fatal vehicle crash in Fairfield County.
McDevitt, 51, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Shelton Sunday evening.
According to reports, McDevitt was operating an Acura MDX on Route 8 near Exit 13 in Shelton, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 5 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then came into contact with a grouping of trees and rolled over.
McDevitt was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
