LEHIGH COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Schaffer, 25, and Patrick Phyrillas, 22, both of Reading, Pennsylvania, have been identified as the victims in a Sunday evening double-fatal vehicle crash in Lehigh County.
Schaffer, 25, and 22-year-old Phyrillas, were both killed in a vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor Sunday evening in Upper Macungie Township.
According to reports, the men were traveling in a vehicle on Hamilton Boulevard/ Route 222 near Folk Road in Breinigsville, when the vehicle came into contact with a big-rig around 4 p.m. Sunday.
Both men were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
