PLYMOUTH COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Lindsay Clancy, of Duxbury, Massachusetts, has been identified as the mother of three hospitalized following the deaths of her two children found at a home in Plymouth County on Tuesday.
According to reports, an adult male contacted police on Tuesday saying his wife was attempting to commit suicide. When police arrived at the home, the children were found unresponsive.
Both children were pronounced dead of apparent strangulation.
Law officials say they are seeking murder charges against 32-year-old Clancy who police say strangled her two children, a 5-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy, before jumping from the window of her Duxbury home at 47 Summer Street on Tuesday.
Clancy remained hospitalized Wednesday along with her 7-month-old infant boy. It is unclear how the infant was injured.
Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz said an arrest warrant was being sought for Clancy for double-murder.
