JACKSON COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Robert Delmore, of Carbondale, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning fatal shooting in Jackson County.
Rob Delmore, 26, was fatally shot in Carbondale early Saturday morning.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 800 block of East Grand Avenue, Carbondale, around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived, Delmore was found in an apartment suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Delmore was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at the scene.
No suspect or motive information was provided by officials as of Sunday morning.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
