STARK COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Kyle Gill, of Canton, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal vehicle crash in Stark County.
Gill, 23, was killed in a single-vehicle crash that injured 25-year-old Canton man, Tyler George Scullion, in Canton Township Saturday morning.
According to reports, the men were traveling in a Chevrolet Blazer on OH-43 near Sany Avenue SE in Canton, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 3:15 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle then came into contact with a pair of guardrails and rolled over.
Both men were ejected from the vehicle during the wreck.
Gill was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Scullion was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
