DALE COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Grace Nicole Rivera, of Daleville, Alabama, has been identified as the victim following a Monday afternoon fatal motorcycle crash in Dale County.
Rivera, 23, was killed after falling off a motorcycle and being struck by a vehicle during a crash on Monday near Ozark.
According to reports, Rivera was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle operated by 27-year-old Marshall Austin Collins, of Ozark, when the bike came into contact with a Nissan Altima on Alabama 27 near Dale County 34.
During the collision, Rivera was ejected from the bike. Rivera was then run over by a Chevrolet Tahoe around 3:40 p.m. Monday.
Collins was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
