TELLER COUNTY, CO. (THECOUNT) — William Brueche, of Florissant, Colorado, has been identified as the deceased suspect in a Thursday murder-suicide involving a small child in Teller County.
Brueche, 53, is accused of killing his 5-year-old son, Liam Brueche, and then himself Thursday night in Florissant.
According to reports, police attempted to conduct a welfare check on little Liam at 51 Carriage Drive in Florissant, after his father failed to show up at a scheduled court-ordered child exchange at the Teller County Sheriff’s Office parking lot.
When police entered the residence, no one was found to be home.
The pair were later found dead inside a pickup truck in the Florissant area.
TCSO determined they died as a result of a murder-suicide.
