WAYNE COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Samuel Dylan Hargrove, of Jesup, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal vehicle crash in Wayne County.
Hargrove, 21, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Jesup early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Hargrove was operating a Chevy Silverado on Sunset Boulevard in Jesup, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 2 a.m. Monday. The vehicle then came into contact with a tree.
Hargrove was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
