WICOMICO COUNTY, MD. (THECOUNT) — Kevin Michaels Lewis, of Willards, Maryland, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal vehicle crash in Wicomico County.
Lewis, 44, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Willards Thursday night.
According to reports, Lewis was operating a vehicle near his home on the 8700 block of Bethel Road in Willards, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into contact with a utility pole before entering a field and striking a wooden building.
Lewis was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
