FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — John R. Salley, of Stamford, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal vehicle crash in Fairfield County.
Salley, 80, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Stamford Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, Salley was operating a Subaru on Shippan Avenue near Cummings Park in Stamford, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle came into contact with a tree around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Salley, founder of Zeiss Construction, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash.
The investigation remains open.
