LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Jessie James Mabe, of Rogersville, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash Monday night involving three motorcycles in Lauderdale County.
Mabe, 29, was killed, and two other riders were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Alabama 207 Monday night.
According to reports, Mabe was operating a motorcycle on AL-207, when for unknown reasons, the bike exited the roadway and came into contact with two other bikes around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
The other involved riders were identified as a 30-year-old woman operating a 2006 Honda CBR-600, and a 34-year-old man operating a 2009 Honda CBR-900. They were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
Mabe was pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
