LYNN COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Jadyn Taylor Boyd, of Lamesa, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night double-fatal vehicle crash in Lynn County.
Boyd, 18, and an unidentified 15-year-old female, were both killed in a Wednesday night rollover crash near O’Donnell.
According to reports, Boyd and the 15-year-old were traveling as passengers in a vehicle on FM2053 outside of O’Donnell, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway and entered a culvert around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then rolled over.
The operator of the vehicle and another 15-year-old girl were transported to an area hospital with incapacitating injuries.
Boyd and the other 15-year-old were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
