CADDO PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Yoshiko Smith and Nikolus Little, both of Keithville, Louisiana, have been identified as the victims in a Tuesday Caddo Parish tornado.
Smith, 30, known on Facebook as, Hadassah Davan Israel, and her 8-year-old Nikolus, were both killed in a tornado that struck the Keithville area Tuesday.
The mother and son were recovered following violent storms that struck Keithville at 4:49 p.m. on Tuesday.
Nikolus was found in a wooded area at Tuesday at 10:55 p.m., while Smith was located under storm debris at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Autopsies for mother and child have been ordered.
One other injury was reported in Keithville, and more than 25 people were hurt in Farmerville in Union Parish, when an apartment complex was destroyed by the tornado.
