NOBLE COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Darrel Andre Warren Sr., of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has been identified as the victim in Tuesday night fatal vehicle crash in Noble County.
Warren, 47, was killed in a two-vehicle crash that also injured five children near Perry Tuesday night.
According to reports, Warren was operating a GMC pickup truck pulling a trailer on Highway 35 near CR-90 in Perry, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 9 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then overcorrected and entered opposite lanes. The vehicle was then struck by a Ford transit van.
Warren was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
In all, there were five children in the vehicles. Of the five, four were admitted to an Oklahoma hospital in fair condition.
The condition of the van driver was not provided.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
