PROVIDENCE COUNTY, RI. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Manieri, of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal vehicle crash in Providence County, Rhode Island.
AJ Manieri, 56, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Smithfield late Sunday evening.
According to reports, Manieri was operating a Ford Ranger pickup truck on Interstate 295 in Smithfield, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then traveled into a wooded area and came into contact with a tree.
Manieri was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
