NASH COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Netanya Symoné Richardson, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night double-fatal vehicle crash that also took the life of her young child in Nash County.
Richardson, 25, and her son, 3-year-old Andre, were both killed in a two-vehicle crash in Rocky Mount late Sunday night.
According to reports, Richardson was operating a vehicle on West Raleigh Blvd near Walnut Street in Rocky Mount, when the vehicle came into contact with another vehicle around 11 p.m. Sunday.
Richardson, a beloved North Carolina 911 dispatcher, and her young son, were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the other involved vehicle were transported to an area hospital with serious unknown injuries.
The crash of the crash remains under investigation.
