REEVES COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Maxwell Lawrence Bucher, of Austin, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal vehicle crash in Reeves County.
Max Bucher, 25, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Balmorhea Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Bucher was operating a Toyota FJ Cruiser on Interstate 10 near Mile Marker 208 in Balmorhea, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 10 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then over corrected and rolled over into a culvert.
Bucher died of injuries suffered in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
