BARRON COUNTY, WI. (THECOUNT) — Kyle Vadner, of Cumberland, Wisconsin, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday morning fatal vehicle crash in Barron County.
Vadner, 23, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a tanker truck in Rice Lake Tuesday morning.
According to reports, Vander was operating an SUV on Highway 48 near 18 ¾ Street in Rice Lake, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 8 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a tanker truck.
Vander, who was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The truck driver, a 50-year-old man from Barron, was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
