RICHLAND COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Jeffrey Kight, of Marion, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night motorcycle crash in Richland County.
Jeff Kight, 60, was killed and Scott Bullion, 54, of Marion, was injured in a three-vehicle crash Sunday night in Troy Township.
According to reports, Kight and Bullion were both operating Harley Davidson motorcycles on Ohio 97 near Gass Road near Lexington, when 20-year-old Trenton Hoffer, of Mansfield, failed to yield while performing a left-hand turn and came into contact with both motorcyclists around 6 p.m. Sunday.
Kight was transported to an area hospital where he later died of blunt force trauma injuries.
Bullion was transported with serious injuries.
Hoffer’s female passenger was transported with serious unknown injuries.
Hoffer was not injured in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
