GARRETT COUNTY, MD. (THECOUNT) — James Patrick Watson Jr., of Westminster, Maryland, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday afternoon fatal utility terrain vehicle crash in Garrett County.
Watson, 28, was killed in a two-vehicle UTV crash in Friendsville Saturday afternoon.
According to reports, Watson was operating a UTV on the 2400 block of Blooming Rose Road in Friendsville, when the vehicle came into contact with a GMC Sierra 1500 operated by Clayton Baker, 42, of Terra Alta, West Virginia around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Watson was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Baker declined medical treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
