LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Former American Idol season 19 contestant, Willie Spence, died on October 11. He was 23.
Fellow American Idol alum Katharine McPhee shared the sad news of Spence’s passing on social media:
“I received very tragic news tonight,” she began her Instagram Story message. “Sweet @williespenceofficial passed away in a car accident. Only 23 years old.”
A cause of death was not provided.
